After much anticipation, it’s officially confirmed that Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8 will kick off in September. Many thought the show might be canceled this year since the team already hosted Bigg Boss Telugu Non-Stop OTT.
However, the creators decided to move forward with the show, taking all necessary precautions. Initially, there were talks of canceling the season, but due to high demand and numerous requests from the audience, the decision was made to take the risk and continue with Bigg Boss 8 Telugu.
Akkineni Nagarjuna returns as the host for Bigg Boss Telugu 8. Jr. NTR hosted the first season, and Nani took over for Season 2, but Nagarjuna has been the face of the show for the past five seasons, including Bigg Boss Telugu 3, Bigg Boss 4, Bigg Boss Non-Stop, and now Bigg Boss 8.
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 8 Tamil has also begun airing on Vijay TV and the Hotstar app, with 24-hour live streaming and weekly voting polls available on Hotstar and other voting sites.
Nagarjuna will be hosting Bigg Boss Telugu for the sixth time, following his stint in Bigg Boss 5 and 6. Back in 2019, the show ran from July 21st to November 3rd.
